Resumo: O osteoblastoma é um neoplasma benigno, raramente encontrado nos ossosmaxilares. Clinicamente possui rápido crescimento e suas principais características sãoa dor e o edema, em geral, localizados na própria lesão. As características radiográficassão variáveis, normalmente consistindo de uma combinação de radioluscência eradiopacidade. O osteoblastoma em mandíbula faz uma série de diagnósticosdiferenciais com outras lesões, sendo o exame histopatológico importante para chegarao correto diagnóstico. Este estudo relata um caso de osteoblastoma em região direitade corpo mandibular em paciente sexo feminino, 26 anos, e aborda, com base na revisãode literatura, as principais características da lesão, possíveis diagnósticos diferenciais etratamento.
