Resumo: The environmental and health impacts related to construction has been topic widely discussed by several countries for all that entails. Thinking this need this work aims to present a practical application of Model Diamond is one of the project management tools, management of sustainable demolition project of the buildings St. Victor and Mercury. This is a case study, which allowed the project management team to apply new rubble recycling technologies, transforming it into aggregate paving, mounting a processing unit locally (small plant) which allowed significant gains in shipping and avoided waste of materials in the removal and transport and accelerate the term by redesigning and educate the team partner environmental importance of the project, in other numerous benefits of social and environmental nature.

Pensando en esta necesidad este trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar una aplicación práctica del Modelo Diamante que es una de las herramientas de gestión de proyectos, en la gestión del proyecto de demolición sostenible de los edificios São Vito y Mercurio. Se trata de un estudio de caso, que permitió al equipo de gestión de proyectos aplicar nuevas tecnologías de reciclado de escombros, transformándolo en agregado de pavimentación, el montaje de una unidad de procesamiento localmente (pequeña fábrica) que permitió ganancias significativas de el transporte y la evitación de desperdicio de materias en la remoción y transporte, además de acelerar el plazo a través del replanteamiento, así como concientizar al equipo de la importancia socio ambiental del proyecto, dentro de otros innumerables beneficios de carácter social y ambiental.Os impactos no ambiente e na saúde, vinculados à Construção Civil, tem sido tema amplamente discutido por vários países, por tudo o que acarreta. Pensando nesta necessidade este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma aplicação prática do Modelo Diamante que é uma das ferramentas do gerenciamento de projetos, na gestão do projeto de demolição sustentável dos edifícios São Vito e Mercúrio.
