Contribuições da enfermagem forense no atendimento à mulher em situação de violência em região de tríplice fronteira (Brasil-Paraguai-Argentina)

This work aims to understand, based on action research, the perception of nurses in the border region of Foz do Iguaçu in the face of the multiple contributions of Forensic Nursing in the care of women in situations of violence, with the specific objectives: Conceptualizing Nursing Forensics and its applicability to women in situations of violence; to describe the social actors and the flows of assistance to women in the municipality of Foz do Iguaçu-PR; to apprehend the nurses' perceptions and experiential challenges in acting on behalf of women in situations of violence; and to highlight the contributions of Forensic Nursing to the professional training of nurses in the city's public network. For this, the action research method was chosen, with data collection carried out through an extension course for the study participants, with a workload of 40 hours and certified by UNIOESTE, divided into eight meetings and aimed at nurses who work in the public health network of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. Five nurses participated in these meetings who, as they advanced, brought their individual and collective experiences in caring for women in situations of violence, their challenges for the humanization of care and, from the discussions, proposals with the bases of Forensic Nursing, with a view to the improvement of its practices of assistance to border women from a gender perspective. According to the results presented, the conclusions of this thesis indicate that the contributions of Forensic Nursing to the care of women in situations of violence are in the strengthening of nurses' knowledge to identify suspected cases of violence and in the emancipation of these professionals to an active stance in policies and in the city's care flows, including them as essential professionals for the reception, nursing consultation and referral to other equipment of the interdisciplinary care network in Foz do Iguaçu-PR.
