Resumo: This study focuses on the development of pedagogical research activities, analysis of gender issues and textual interpretation, with the object of selecting popular songs, aiming to study the figurations of the social role of women in the content of these songs. Thus, we seek to problematize the relationship between the lyrics of the songs and their social context, their meanings, explicit or implicit, in addition to enabling students, through practical activities, to recognize the values that support the meaning effects of the musical text. As theoretical support for carrying out the study in question, we used the assumptions of theorists such as Candido (2011), Louro (1997), Kolontai (2008), Bourdieu (2017) and Araújo (2009). About the questions related to the functionality of the text, to the understanding and interpretation of language, in orality and in writing, as well as the production of statements, we chose Fiorin (2019) and Marcuschi (2008) as a theoretical basis. We hope, with this research, to contribute, in the final phase of Elementary Education, to the formation of a student more aware of gender issues and how they are propagated by society. Considering this issue, the main purpose of this study is to unveil the figurations of the role of women, imposed by social life, within the patriarchal regime, in which we will emphasize the activities of reading and previous research, for the analysis and interpretation of the selected popular songs ; and demonstrate to students that, even though they were composed at different times, these songs convey values from the same discursive formation. It is, therefore, an interventional research that uses Thiollent's action-research procedures (2011), with the mediation of the teacher, under the assumptions of Libâneo (1986), since the pedagogical practices proposed for the training humanitarian aid for students in the 9th grade of elementary school were implemented in a public school in the state of Paraná, with students in the process of building knowledge.

Buscamos, assim, problematizar a relação entre a letra das canções e seu contexto social, suas significações, explícitas ou implícitas, além de possibilitar aos alunos, por meio de atividades práticas, o reconhecimento dos valores que sustentam os efeitos de sentido do texto musical. Como apoio teórico para a realização do estudo em questão, valemo-nos dos pressupostos de teóricos como Candido (2011), Louro (1997), Kolontai (2008), Bourdieu (2017) e Araújo (2009). Sobre as questões relacionadas à funcionalidade do texto, à compreensão e interpretação da linguagem, na oralidade e na escrita, bem como a produção de enunciados, optamos por Fiorin (2019) e Marcuschi (2008) como bases teóricas. Esperamos, com a realização desta pesquisa, contribuir, na fase final do Ensino Fundamental, para a formação de um aluno mais ciente das questões de gênero e de como elas se propagam pela sociedade. Considerando essa questão, o principal intuito deste estudo é desvelar as figurações do papel da mulher, impostas pela vida social, dentro do regime patriarcal, no qual daremos ênfase às atividades de leituras e de pesquisas prévias, para a análise e interpretação das canções populares selecionadas; e demonstrar aos alunos que, mesmo sendo compostas em épocas diferentes, essas canções veiculam valores de uma mesma formação discursiva.
