Resumo: | The irrigation system with autonomous photovoltaic pumping appears as an accessible option for remote locations, enabling agricultural production in places with water scarcity. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate the performance of a central pivot irrigation system using an isolated photovoltaic system for energy supply. The validation process of the developed equipment took place during the uniformity coefficient evaluation tests using water, jointly analyzing the statistical quality control, using the Shewhart control chart and the process capacity index. The power supply consisted of eight monocrystalline photovoltaic modules with a power of 665W from the Canadian Solar brand and a 1.5kW Delta frequency inverter, finally connected directly to the pumping system. The power parameters of the photovoltaic system and the water pump motor will be measured simultaneously while collecting the water flow from the central pivot. The experiment was conducted at the Experimental Center for Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Western Paraná, where energy supply tests were carried out using the photovoltaic system, connected directly to the pumping of the central pivot. Five days of collection were carried out with 30 tests per day, totaling 150 collections. Energy generation by the photovoltaic system was unstable with a coefficient of variation of 9.82 to 56.74%, while the pressure and flow values remained within the nominal specification values according to the process capacity index. The uniformity values were between 54.78 and 61.38%, therefore classified as poor, however it is highlighted that the stability of energy generation improved uniformity. Shewhart's control charts defined that the presence of clouds, as well as low radiation values, affect the generation of energy, pressure and flow of the irrigation system, compromising uniformity. Therefore, it is concluded that the layout of the system under study was not satisfactory for satisfactory central pivot irrigation. It is therefore recommended to use a battery bank to stabilize energy generation and consumption. |

Assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o desempenho de um sistema de irrigação por pivô central utilizando para fornecimento de energia um sistema fotovoltaico isolado. O processo de validação dos equipamentos desenvolvidos ocorreu durante os ensaios de avaliação do coeficiente de uniformidade aplicando água, analisando conjuntamente o controle estatístico de qualidade, utilizando o gráfico de controle de Shewhart e o índice de capacidade do processo. O fornecimento de energia foi composto por oito módulos fotovoltaicos monocristalinos com potência de 665W da marca Canadian Solar e um inversor de frequência da marca Delta de 1,5kW, ligado por fim diretamente ao sistema de bombeamento. Os parâmetros de potência do sistema fotovoltaico e do motor da bomba de água, serão medidos simultaneamente a coleta da vazão da água do pivô central. O experimento foi conduzido no Núcleo Experimental da Engenharia Agrícola (NEEA) da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná, UNIOESTE, onde foram realizados os ensaios do fornecimento de energia utilizando o sistema fotovoltaico, ligado diretamente ao bombeamento do pivô central. Foram realizados 5 dias de coleta com 30 ensaios por dia, totalizando 150 coletas. A geração de energia por parte do sistema fotovoltaico foi instável com coeficiente de variação de 9,82 a 56,74%, já os valores de pressão e vazão mantiveram-se dentro dos valores nominais de especificação de acordo com o índice de capacidade do processo. Os valores de uniformidade ficaram entre 54,78 e 61,38%. Portanto, foram classificados como ruins, porém destaca-se que a estabilidade da geração de energia melhorou a uniformidade. Os gráficos de controle de Shewhart definiram que a presença de nuvens, bem como valores baixos de radiação, afeta a geração de energia, pressão e vazão do sistema de irrigação, comprometendo a uniformidade. Sendo assim, conclui-se que o layout do sistema em estudo não foi satisfatório para uma irrigação adequada por pivô central.
