The Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) has been the object of research in different areas of science and constitutes an organization of great importance for the peasantry and for reflections on the problems of the Brazilian agrarian question. The MST emerged from the junction of different peasant struggles spread across Brazil, in 2021 it completed thirty-seven years of resistance in the countryside, throughout its trajectory the Movement has transformed, added new ideas and followed the changes in society and the struggles for land and rights in the countryside. In its development, the MST incorporated into the struggle a practice inherited from contact with the Catholic Church in the initial years of its formation, the mystic. This research sought to focus, identify and discuss what are the existing approaches to mysticism and how the peasant becomes content for mysticism. To follow this path, we tried to understand the mystique from two instances, one physical and the other metaphysical, in this way it was possible to look at the peasant universe, its beliefs, ideals, dreams and anxieties through its relationship with this phenomenon. Approaches to mystique as a phenomenon of thought made it possible to reflect on its potency as energy or "feeling" for life, by observing the mystique materialized in performances, it was possible to analyze how peasants become artisans of performance art and use this language to express your yearnings. The search for understanding what we put as peasant content, which highlights characteristics of peasant ancestry contained in the mystique, was the very search for understanding the peasant as a subject and as a class.
