O núcleo de estudos e defesa de direitos da infância e da juventude de Foz do Iguaçu (NEDDIJ): una análise pedagógica

The rights and duties attributed to children and adolescents in Brazil, today, are considered as a reference worldwide. The acquired achievements represent the sum of countless efforts of the administrative spheres at the national, state and municipal levels, which together make up a protection network that deliberates in favor of children and youth, especially those who are in a contexto of social vulnerability. In the State of Paraná, the Center for the Study and Defense of the Rights of Children and Youth (NEDDIJ) is a device whose actions are in line with legal norms aimed at promoting and maintaining the rights of children and adolescentes, therefore, it is perceived as being a rerpresentative agente of the aforementioned spheres. This research aimed to presente the NEDDIJ project in Foz do Iguaçu, punctuating the organizations of the nucleus, main fields of action, its formative role, in addition to the pedagogical aspect in the socio-educational contexto and, finally, to identify the contribuitions and challenges of this nucles. The presente investigation, of a qualitative character, composed from a descriotive and exploratory analysis, displays information that allows us to obtain clarity regarding the specificity of the NEDDIJ of Foz do Iguaçu, located in a triple border region, a fator that denotes a certain contrast in relation to the other nuclei. The results portrayed the pedagogical perception widespread in the socio-educational envoronments, due to being the main fiels of action of this nucleus, as well as the heterogeneity of NEDDIJ was evidenced. At the end of the research, it was possible to verify how important NEDDIJ´s performance is, as it is understood as a defense device, which intensifies and promotes the rights of children and adolecents, in the legal and pedagogical spheres.
