Developing with capoeira at school: systematic review

Resumo: | BACKGROUND: Capoeira was born from the desire of black people for freedom, and its history is strongly intertwined with the colonial Brazil period. Blacks, over time, began to realize the need to elaborate a way to protect themselves. Today, capoeira is part of the content to be worked on in physical education at school, and just like any other sport, it has the function of developing a body culture of movement and assisting in the development of motor skills. OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the contribution of capoeira to the development of students’ motor skills in the school context.METHODS: A systematic review was carried out on studies published in Portuguese, in the following databases: Scielo, BVS, Academic Google, which address the theme, Capoeira and the development of motor skills, which was not analyzed to achieve the objective of the research, based on the following keywords: capoeira, physical education, motor development, motor skills, school.RESULTS: When searching the databases, 1,121 studies were found, 10 in Scielo, 17 in BVS, and 1,094 in Academic Google and after submitting to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 5 studies were included in the review, three in physical education school and two at the Association of Parents, Friends and the Disabled.CONCLUSION: The practice of capoeira proves to be effective, as it works with a wide variety of movements, thus contributing to the development of motor skills of practitioners. |

Os negros, com o passar do tempo, foram percebendo a necessidade de elaborar uma forma de se manterem protegidos. Hoje em dia, a capoeira faz parte dos conteúdos a ser trabalhados na educação física escolar, e assim como qualquer outro esporte, tem a função de desenvolver a cultura corporal do movimento e auxiliar no desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras.OBJETIVO: Analisar por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, a contribuição da capoeira para o desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras dos educandos no contexto escolar.MÉTODOS: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática em estudos publicados em língua portuguesa, utilizando a metodologia PRISMA, nas seguintes bases de dados: Scielo, BVS e Google acadêmico, que abordem as temáticas de capoeira e desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras. Para isso, realizou-se uma análise com o intuito de atingir o objetivo da pesquisa, a partir das seguintes palavras-chaves: capoeira, educação física, desenvolvimento motor, habilidades motoras e escola.RESULTADOS: Ao realizar a busca nas bases de dados, foram encontrados 1.121 estudos: sendo 10 na Scielo, 17 na BVS e 1.094 no Google Acadêmico.
