Resumo: | The current study has the aim to discuss issues related to the utilization of legacies intangible, associated with social and educational contexts after the mega sporting events in Brazil. The herein presented discussions highlight the importance to have the Brazilian Government making coherent and responsible planning so that the Brazilian population can benefit from the legacies of these mega sporting events throughout time. Thus, investing in the social and educational contexts, especially when it comes to children and adolescents, is extremely important to broaden and consolidate the sports education, the Olympic values and to encourage the general population to adopt healthy habits. |

O presente estudo visa discutir questões relacionadas ao aproveitamento dos legados intangíveis, ligados ao contexto social e educacional, após realização dos megaeventos esportivos no Brasil. As discussões apresentadas rementem a importância de o governo brasileiro realizar planejamentos coerentes e responsáveis, permitindo que os legados dos megaeventos esportivos sejam usufruídos pela população brasileira pós-eventos. Neste sentido, o investimento no contexto social e educacional é de suma importância, com destaque para as crianças e adolescentes, possibilitando ampliar e consolidar o aprendizado esportivo, os valores olímpicos e estimular a constituição de hábitos saudáveis à população.ABSTRACT.
