Resumo: The objective central this paper is available the contribution of the Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar for regional development of the West of the Paraná State. It was analysis the municipalities that have industrial plants, this way, it seek available how the important the cooperatives for regional development, by a case studied this cooperative. It were used the regional analyze methodology, by using same index. The resultants showed that the Lar cooperative was very important for employing labor force and economic dynamic and social development by tax which municipalities have industrial plant.

O objetivo central desse artigo é avaliar a contribuição da Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar para o desenvolvimento regional do Oeste do Estado do Paraná. Dessa forma, procurou-se avaliar a importância das cooperativas para o desenvolvimento econômico regional, através um estudo de caso dessa cooperativa. Foram aplicadas as metodologias de análise regional, por meio do cálculo de alguns indicadores, nos municípios que têm unidades industriais.
