Resumo: The aim of this article is to characterize the forms of governance of the relationship between industries and pig farmers in Mato Grosso do Sul. Therefore, the qualitative approach was used, based on secondary data and rapid method of approach, application arising from face to face interviews on the managers responsible for relations with pig farmers, two industries that are over 90% of total capacity of pig slaughter in the state. The results showed the presence of plural forms of governance represented by hybrid and hierarchical structures. The presence of these plural forms can be justified, in part, by insufficient amount of piglets (ambiguity) with a certain level of specificity and quality.

The presence of these plural forms can be justified, in part, by insufficient amount of piglets (ambiguity) with a certain level of specificity and quality. Resumen: El objetivo de este artículo es caracterizar las formas de gestión de la relación entre las industrias y los criadores de cerdos en Mato Grosso do Sul Por lo tanto, se utilizó el enfoque cualitativo, basado en datos secundarios y método rápido de enfoque, que surge de la aplicación de entrevistas cara a cara en los directivos responsables de las relaciones con los criadores de cerdos, dos industrias que son más del 90% de la capacidad total de la masacre cerdos en el estado. Los resultados mostraron la presencia de formas plurales de gobierno representados por las estructuras híbridas y jerárquicas. La presencia de estas formas plurales se justifica, en parte, por una cantidad insuficiente de los lechones (ambigüedad) con un cierto nivel de especificidad y calidad..O objetivo geral deste artigo consistiu em caracterizar as formas de governança da relação entre indústrias e suinocultores de Mato Grosso do Sul. Logo, foi utilizada a abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, a partir de dados secundários e do método de abordagem rápida, advinda da aplicação de entrevistas face a face, sobre os gestores responsáveis pela relação com suinocultores, de duas indústrias, que apresentam mais de 90% da capacidade total de abate de suínos no Estado.
