Location and restructuring of the export base in the Paraná State-Brazil Immediate Regions from 2010 to 2020

Resumo: This paper analyzes the location and restructuring of the export base in the State of Paraná’ immediate regions, to verify which regions are most diversified in export sectors from 2010 to 2020. Location and specialization measures (Locational Quotient, Location Coefficient, Redistribution Coefficient, Specialization Coefficient and Restructuring Coefficient) were used to verify the export base of each State of Paraná’ immediate region, as well as the sectoral location profiles and regional specialization. The results highlighted the productive profile of an urban-industrial base in Paraná. It was also found that the most diversified regions were those where the main regional economic centers were located and that the regions of Cianorte, Ivaiporã, Paranacity – Colorado, and Telêmaco Borba were the least multispecialized. The sectors of agriculture, food industry and retail trade are more spatially dispersed, while the footwear industries and more specific services are more concentrated.

Se utilizaron medidas de localización y especialización (Cociente de Localización, Coeficiente de Localización, Coeficiente de Redistribución, Coeficiente de Especialización y Coeficiente de Reestructuración) para verificar la base exportadora de cada región, así como los perfiles sectoriales de localización y especialización regional. Los resultados destacaron el perfil productivo de una base urbano-industrial en Paraná. Se constató que las regiones más diversificadas eran aquellas donde se ubicaban los principales centros económicos regionales y que las regiones de Cianorte, Ivaiporã, Paranacity – Colorado y Telêmaco Borba eran las menos multiespecializadas. Los sectores de la agricultura, la industria alimentaria y el comercio minorista están más dispersos espacialmente, mientras que las industrias del calzado y los servicios más específicos están más concentrados.Esse artigo analisa a localização e reestruturação da base de exportação das regiões imediatas do estado do Paraná, verificando quais são mais diversificadas em setores considerados de exportação entre 2010 e 2020. Utilizam-se medidas de localização e especialização (Quociente Locacional, Coeficiente de Localização, Coeficiente de Redistribuição, Coeficiente de Especialização e Coeficiente de Reestruturação) para verificar a base de exportação de cada RGI, bem como, os perfis de localização setorial e de especialização regional. Os resultados ressaltaram o perfil produtivo de base urbano-industrial do Paraná. Verificou-se que as RGI mais diversificadas foram aquelas nas quais se localizavam os principais polos econômicos regionais e que as RGI de Cianorte, Ivaiporã, Paranacity – Colorado, e de Telêmaco Borba foram as menos multiespecializadas.
