Resumo: En “La casa inundada” (1960), del escritor uruguayo Felisberto Hernández, se despliega un relato dentro de otro relato a través de una técnica próxima al collage (LAPLANTINE Y NOUSS, 2007). Este trabajo realiza una exégesis deteniéndose en el modo en que el cuento va diseñando líneas de contacto y de fuga entre escuchar pasivamente e interpretar, la realidad y el sueño (FREUD, 1991), el presente y el pasado, y fundamentalmente entre el realismo y lo fantástico literarios (VAX, 1965; JACKSON, 1986; CAMPRA, 2008). Líneas que asimismo se intersectan con rituales (ELIADE, 1998; BACHELARD, 2000, 2003) en el contexto excéntrico de una casa intencionadamente inundada.
