Resumo: In view of the high rates of violence and death perpetrated against women in contemporary Brazil, it is possible to highlight a context marked by a hegemonic masculinity that results in death policies (necropolitics), that is, it implies an absolute disposability of female lives. In this sense, the present study is guided by the following research problem: considering the existence of a gender necropolitics in the country, aimed at producing the death of women, it is possible to say that hegemonic masculinity acts as a necropolitical device that impacts on the construction of subjectivities of the perpetrator of violence to the point that he feels authorized to practice it? To answer the proposed problem, the article was structured in two sections, which correspond to its specific objectives. The first section deals with the establishment of the concepts of necropolitics and gender necropolitics, considered as very important theoretical references for the analysis of violence against women in Brazil; in the second section, we intend to relate the social construction of masculinities with the practice of feminicides in Brazil, showing how the intensification of a hegemonic male subjectivity leads to the configuration of a necropolitical device for the production and administration of death within women. necropolitical gender regime. The method of approach used is the hypothetical-deductive, with the use of the bibliographic research technique for data collection.
