The impacts of the covid-19 pandemic on domestic and family violence crimes against women in the state of Piauí

Resumo: The present research intended to analyze the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on crimes of domestic and family violence against women, having as delimitation the State of Piauí, located in the Brazilian Northeast. The specific objectives of the research involved discussing what domestic and family violence against women is, in addition to its legal definition; to point out how this type of violence has developed in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and also to analyze the impacts of this pandemic on crimes of domestic and family violence against women in the State of Piauí, based on data made available by the Brazilian Forum of Public Security (FBSP) in the year 2021, through the Brazilian Yearbook of Public Security. For this, the researchers developed a collection of bibliographic and documentary data on the subject, and treated them through Bardin's content analysis (2016). The research results indicate that Covid-19 has increased domestic and family violence against women in the State of Piauí, requiring society and the State to adopt new strategies to combat crimes of this kind during the period of health crisis, among which the use of computerized means that make it possible to denounce.

Los objetivos específicos de la investigación involucraron discutir qué es la violencia doméstica y familiar contra la mujer, además de su definición legal; señalar cómo este tipo de violencia se ha desarrollado en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid-19 y también analizar los impactos de esta pandemia en los delitos de violencia doméstica y familiar contra las mujeres en el Estado de Piauí, con base en datos puestos a disposición por la Foro Brasileño de Seguridad Pública (FBSP) en el año 2021, a través del Anuario Brasileño de Seguridad Pública. Para ello, los investigadores desarrollaron una colección de datos bibliográficos y documentales sobre el tema, y ​​los trataron a través del análisis de contenido de Bardin (2016). Los resultados de la investigación indican que la Covid-19 ha incrementado la violencia doméstica y familiar contra las mujeres en el Estado de Piauí, exigiendo que la sociedad y el Estado adopten nuevas estrategias para combatir los delitos de ese tipo durante el período de crisis sanitaria, entre las que destaca el uso de medios que hacen posible la denuncia.A presente pesquisa se destinou a analisar os impactos da pandemia pela Covid-19 nos crimes de violência doméstica e familiar contra mulheres, tendo como recorte o Estado do Piauí, localizado no Nordeste brasileiro. Os objetivos específicos da pesquisa envolveram discutir o que é a violência doméstica e familiar contra mulheres, para além de sua definição legal; apontar como esse tipo de violência tem se desenvolvido no contexto da pandemia pela Covid-19 e, também, analisar os impactos dessa pandemia sobre os crimes de violência doméstica e familiar contra mulheres no Estado do Piauí, a partir dos dados disponibilizados pelo Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP) no ano de 2021, através do Anuário Brasileiro de Segurança Pública. Para tanto, os pesquisadores desenvolveram uma coleta de dados bibliográficos e documentais sobre o tema, dando-lhes tratamento através da análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2016). Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que a Covid-19 potencializou a violência doméstica e familiar contra mulheres no Estado do Piauí, exigindo da sociedade e do Estado a adoção de novas estratégias no combate aos crimes dessa espécie durante o período de crise sanitária, dentre as quais a utilização de meios informáticos que possibilitem as denúncias.Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo - U.E.
