Resumo: | Based on the assumption of the correlation between different spheres of Mário de Andrade’s work, this article aims to analyze the relations between literature and music in Mário de Andrade’s poetry. Thus it examines the articulations with music from his first book of poems, Pauliceia desvairada, to the last, Lira paulistana, and the transformations arising from the relations between erudite and popular art around the problems of nationalization and politicization of art in Brazil from the 1920s to the 1940s. Based mainly on critical, folkloric and historiographical texts by Mário de Andrade (1974; 1991; 2019; 1982; 1972; 1998; 1977; 1976), it seeks to understand his poetry from the problems of the erudite transposition of the musical creation processes of Brazilian folklore and popular songs. |

Para tanto, examina as articulações com a música desde o seu primeiro livro de poemas, Pauliceia desvairada, ao derradeiro, Lira paulistana, e as transformações decorrentes das relações entre arte erudita e popular em torno dos problemas da nacionalização e da politização da arte no Brasil dos anos 1920 aos anos 1940.
