Resumo: Background and Objectives: In the Americas, Brazil is the country that most reported cases of malaria and the most common are for: Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum. In the state of Pará, Anajás is the municipality with the largest number of registered cases. Therefore the aim of this study was to assess the food and nutrition situation of children and adolescents with Plasmodium vivax malaria in the municipality of Anajás / PA. Methods: Cross-sectional study with children and adolescents, aged 2-16 years with P. vivax malaria, met from January to December / 2014. Socioeconomic and epidemiological data were collected using a semi-structured research protocol. Anthropometric measurements of height and weight were collected for assessment of nutritional status. En el estado de Pará, Anajás es el municipio con el mayor número de casos registrados. Por eso, el objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la situación alimentar y nutricional de niños y adolescentes con malaria por Plasmodium vivax, en el municipio de Anajás/PA. Métodos: Estudio transversal realizado con niños y adolescentes, en el rango etario de 2 a 16 años, con malaria por P. vivax, atendidas de enero a diciembre/2014. Los datos socioeconómicos y epidemiológicos fueron colectados utilizándose protocolo de pesquisa semiestructurado. Las medidas antropométricas de peso y altura fueron colectadas para evaluación del estado nutricional.
