Resumo: This paper presents a study of the policy of sustainable development of the State of Amazon formulated from the Governmental Program Green Zona Franca (ZFV). This program is justified by the increasing demand of the interior for development alternatives. In this model of development there are problems of the most diverse spheres in the social, educational, cultural and economic areas. The methodology made use of bibliographical sources and government reports, crossing them with theoretical base. The study used the hypothesis that economic growth with support took place given from the space distribution of the productive and industrial centers on. Graphics and tables present the results, proving that the development is occurring in higher proportion in the cities next to Manaus, central place from which analyzes depart.

Graphics and tables present the results, proving that the development is occurring in higher proportion in the cities next to Manaus, central place from which analyzes depart.Este trabalho apresenta um estudo da política de desenvolvimento sustentável do Estado do Amazonas formulada a partir do Programa Governamental intitulado Zona Franca Verde (ZFV), este programa justifica-se sobretudo, em função da crescente demanda do interior por alternativas de desenvolvimento que se rivalizem às oferecidas pelo Pólo Industrial de Manaus (PIM). Ocorre que neste modelo de desenvolvimento vieram problemas das mais diversas esferas que permeiam as áreas social, educacional, cultural e econômica, onde não há disponibilidade de recursos por parte do poder público a fim de atendê-los plenamente. A metodologia utilizada fez uso de fontes bibliográficas e os relatórios de governo e de institutos de pesquisa, cruzando-os com base teórica. O estudo partiu da hipótese que o crescimento econômico com sustentabilidade deu-se a partir da distribuição espacial dos centros produtivos e industriais. Os resultados foram apresentados por meio de gráficos e tabelas, e comprovam que o desenvolvimento esta ocorrendo em maior proporção nos municípios mais próximos de Manaus, lugar central do qual partem as analises.
