Resumo: The objective of this article is to analyze the community actions articulated to the educational-social project of the Marist Educational Center Lúcia Mayvorne. This is a qualitative study, and the investigation means is the case study. The research aimed to analyze whether the relationship between project and community can be considered as a practice of social innovation. The results and the evidences found indicate there is a significant adherence of the community practice developed in the project to social innovation, since through the imbrication between the educational project and the community action, conditions are created for the promotion and consolidation of forms of individual and collective emancipation.

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, lo que significa que la investigación es el estudio de caso. La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar si la relación entre el proyecto y la comunidad puede ser considerada como una práctica de innovación social. Los resultados y las evidencias encontradas indican que hay significativa adhesión de la práctica comunitaria desarrollada en el proyecto con la innovación social, porque a través de la superposición entre el proyecto educativo y la acción comunitaria se crean condiciones para la promoción y consolidación de las formas de emancipación individual y colectiva.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as ações comunitárias articuladas ao projeto educacional-social do Centro Educacional Marista Lúcia Mayvorne. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, cujo meio de investigação é o estudo de caso. A pesquisa visou a analisar se a relação entre projeto e comunidade pode ser considerada uma prática de inovação social.
