Resumo: This article aims to propose some analysis about the movies Beasts of the nation and Germania anno zero. It uses some concepts developed by the philosopher Giorgio Agamben as a key-reading. From Susan Buck-Morss's appointments, it also indicates the relevance of the cinema not only as a medium to analyze the contemporary historical conjunctures but as a way to allegorical access to certain categories that constitute the dimension of contemporary politics. Finally, from the analysis of the movies, it shows how the childhood's issue (understood as humanity's childhood as well) may be fundamental to consider the connection between civilization and barbarism.

Finally, from the analysis of the movies, it shows how the childhood's issue (understood as humanity's childhood as well) may be fundamental to consider the connection between civilization and barbarism.
