Resumo: Along the last years the work of Vik Muniz has been examined under the most varied angles, but until now it hasn’t been stressed enough that which seems to be his decisive procedure, namely the photographic record that follows the plastic construction. Here one intends to verify what is implied in that process, beginning with the canceling of the materiality of the work.

Intentamos, verificar que está implicado en este proceso, empezando por la anulación de la materialidad original de la obra.Le travail de Vik Muniz est en train d’être analysé sous plusieurs angles dans les dernières années, cependant on n’a pas encore détaché avec emphase celui qui paraît être son procédé décisif, l’enregistrement photographique qui suit à la construction plastique. On veut ici vérifier ce qui est impliqué dans ce procès, commençant par l’annulation de la matérialité originelle de l’œuvre.O trabalho de Vik Muniz vem sendo examinado dos mais variados ângulos nos últimos anos, mas ainda não se destacou com a ênfase necessária aquele que parece ser seu procedimento decisivo, o registro fotográfico que se segue à construção plástica.
