Resumo: In this work, we aim to understand how public policies involving languages ??act in the texture and reaffirmation of language in its imaginary order. To this end, we rely on a specific archive, the Public Policy Bank on Languages ??in Brazil (BPL), whose organization has shown us an articulated functioning between language as a material condition of discourse and language as a symbolic object. Drawing on Discourse Analysis in its articulation with the History of Linguistic Ideas, we assume public policies as political-normative textualizations and, based on them, we work on the fact of language (Pêcheux, 2010) in the materiality of the archive to deduce how discursively policies (re)signify the mentioned imaginary

Para ello, nos basamos en un archivo específico, el Banco de Políticas Públicas sobre Lenguas en Brasil (BPL), cuya organización nos ha mostrado un funcionamiento articulado entre el lenguaje como condición material del discurso y el lenguaje como objeto simbólico. Tomando como base el Análisis del Discurso en su articulación con la Historia de las Ideas Lingüísticas, asumimos las políticas públicas como textualizaciones político-normativas y, a partir de ellas, trabajamos el hecho del lenguaje (Pêcheux, 2010) en la materialidad del archivo, para luego deducir cómo discursivamente las políticas (re)significan el mencionado imaginario.Neste trabalho o objetivo é compreender como políticas públicas que envolvem línguas atuam na tessitura e na reafirmação da língua em sua ordem imaginária. Para tanto, vale-se de um arquivo em específico, o Banco de Políticas Públicas sobre Línguas no Brasil (BPL), cuja organização tem mostrado um funcionamento articulado entre a língua como condição material do discurso e a língua como objeto simbólico.
