Discursive and linguistic dimensions in the field of Portuguese Language teaching – notes of a teaching practice

Resumo: In this paper we discuss the relationship between discursive and linguistic dimensions by analyzing the pedagogical practices of a teacher who joined the methodology of the Portuguese Language Program Olympics – Writing the Future (PLO in Portuguese acronym). Grounded in dialogical theory of language (Bakhtin and his Circle), this methodology builds on the work with the genres of speech, which is why we also support us in these theoretical assumptions also support the analysis. We highlight how, in development work, the teacher sought to take into account the language in its complexity, covering its historical, social and dialogical dimension, seeking to overtake the methodology seated in the language of vision as a system. However, the teacher experienced the confrontation between died and new, between the linguistic and discursive, still tending their practice to the linguistic dimension. Still, the results indicate that this methodology represents a new move towards progressive achievement of discursive autonomy.

Still, the results indicate that this methodology represents a new move towards progressive achievement of discursive autonomy.En este texto se discute la relación entre dimensiones discursivas y lingüísticas por análisis de la práctica pedagógica de una profesora que se ha adherido a la metodología del Programa Olimpíada de la Lengua Portuguesa – Escribiendo el Futuro (OLP). Basada en la teoría dialógica del lenguaje (Bajtín y su Círculo), esa metodología toma como base el trabajo con los géneros del discurso, razón por la que también eses supuestos teóricos fundamentan el análisis. Se destaca que, así, en desarrollo del trabajo, la profesora ha procurado levar en cuenta el lenguaje en su complexidad, cubriendo su dimensión histórica, social y dialógica, buscando el paso de la metodología asentada en una visión de lengua como sistema. Sin embargo, la profesora ha vivido la confrontación entre el viejo y el nuevo, entre el lingüístico y el discursivo, aun tendiendo su práctica para la dimensión lingüística. Así mismo los resultados permitiendo afirmar que esa metodología traduce un nuevo caminar en el curso de una conquista progresiva de la autonomía discursiva.Neste texto discute-se a relação entre dimensões discursivas e linguísticas pela análise da prática pedagógica de uma professora que aderiu à metodologia do Programa Olimpíada da Língua Portuguesa – Escrevendo o Futuro (OLP). Alicerçada na teoria dialógica da linguagem (Bakhtin e seu Círculo), essa metodologia toma como base o trabalho com os gêneros do discurso, razão por que esses pressupostos teóricos fundamentam a análise. Destaca-se assim que, no desenvolvimento do trabalho, a professora procurou levar em conta a linguagem em sua complexidade, abarcando sua dimensão histórica, social e dialógica, buscando a ultrapassagem da metodologia assentada na visão de língua como sistema. No entanto, a professora vivenciou o confronto entre o dado e o novo, entre o linguístico e o discursivo, tendendo ainda sua prática para a dimensão linguística.
