Resumo: In this essay, theoretical reflections about the way in which ideology and language are connected are compared. The purpose of this comparative analysis is to illustrate how the explanations about these two instances can be divergent. The theoretical apparatus includes classical thinkers (Althusser, 1985; Pêcheux, 1995, 1997; Bakhtin, 1999), the contemporary author Thompson (1995) and the Marxist critic Eagleton (1997).

La finalidad de este análisis comparativa es ilustrar el cuanto pueden ser divergentes las explicaciones acerca de la relación entre esas dos instancias. Constan, de la selección bibliográfica realizada, pensadores clásicos (Althusser, 1985; Pêcheux, 1995, 1997; Bakhtin, 1999) y contemporáneos (Thompson, 1995; Eagleton, 1997).Dans cet essai, on comapare des réflexions théoriques sur le moyen comment l’idéologie et le langage se relient. La finalité de cette analyse comparative est celle d’illustrer le combien peuvent être divergentes les explications sur le rapport entre deux instances. Dans la bibliographie, il y a des penseurs classiques tels que Althusser, 1985, Pêcheux, 1995, 1997 et Bakhtin, 1999, et encore des contenporains tels que Thompson, 1995 et Eagleton, 1997.Neste ensaio são comparadas reflexões teóricas sobre o modo como ideologia e linguagem se interligam. A finalidade desta análise comparativa é ilustrar o quão podem ser divergentes as explicações acerca da relação entre essas duas instâncias.
