THE CREATION OF A LITERACY LEARNING MODEL IN MINAS GERAIS FROM THE REFORM TO THE PUBLIC INSTRUCTION IN 1906 AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION TO THE SCHOOL GROUP OF LAVRAS - MG.

Resumo: This paper aims at presenting the political strategies and the methods created for literacy learning by the educational reform implemented by Governor João Pinheiro, upon the installation of School Groups. It also aims at explaining how the literacy learning program became effective at the third School Group of Lavras, Minas Gerais, under the intervention of Firmino Costa Pereira, a remarkable name for the History of Brazilian Education. To carry out this work, we did a survey at the Public Archives of Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) and at Museu Bi Moreira, in Lavras, Minas Gerais. It is possible to observe that a whole new and specific material was developed for literacy learning with the creation of School Groups, in order to bring modernity and civilization to the country. The adoption of an official literacy learning model had specific amendments that went beyond the norm, because the principal of the School Group of Lavras, Firmino Costa, was able to bring uniqueness to the structure of literacy learning in Minas Gerais, which caused great national impact.

Se busca también presentar cómo el programa de alfabetización se ha efectado en el tercer Grupo Escolar de la ciudad de Lavras - MG, donde tuvo la actuación de Firmino da Costa Pereira, un exponente para la Historia de la Educación nacional. Para la efectividad de ese trabajo fueron realizadas investigaciones en el Archivo Público Minero de Belo Horizonte y en el Museo Bi Moreira, en la ciudad de Lavras. Es posible concluir que toda una materialidad específica para la alfabetización fue inaugurada desde la construcción de los Grupos Escolares, con el propósito de civilizar y modernizar el país. La apropiación del modelo oficial de alfabetización prescrito tuvo cambios específicos, que fueron más allá de lo normativo, pues el director del Grupo Escolar de Lavras, Firmino Costa, supo poner un carácter singular a la estructuración de la alfabetización en tierras mineras, que tuvo repercusión nacional.  Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar as estratégias políticas e os métodos construídos para a alfabetização a partir da Reforma Educacional instituída pelo governador João Pinheiro, com a instalação dos Grupos Escolares. Objetiva, também, apresentar como o programa de alfabetização se efetivou no terceiro Grupo Escolar da cidade de Lavras - MG, onde teve a atuação de Firmino da Costa Pereira, um expoente para a História da Educação nacional. Para a efetivação deste trabalho foram realizadas pesquisas no Arquivo Público Mineiro de Belo Horizonte e no Museu Bi Moreira, em terras lavrenses. É possível concluir que toda uma materialidade específica para a alfabetização foi inaugurada a partir da construção dos Grupos Escolares, com o intuito de civilizar e modernizar o país.
