EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER’S TRAINING: FROM THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROFESSION TO THE TRAINING PROJECT OF THE UNIVERCITY OF ÉVORA

Resumo: The early childhood teachers’ training is a theoretical and practical field that impacts the quality of children’s life, their families and communities, as well as a sustainable development. This paper presents the training project of the University of Évora (UE) based on a professional profile, aiming to respond to the complexity of the profession nowadays. The theoretical and pedagogical foundations of this training are: 1) pedagogical isomorphism; 2) inter-action between the University and the educational contexts; 3) sustained cultural enrichment in the sociocultural contexts of the UniverCity; and 4) establishment of collaborative learning communities. Learning through projects and socialized writing are favoured as tools of construction and affirmation of the profession based on inquiry processes that confer scientific grounds and promote the quality of the professional practices.

Este texto presenta el proyecto de formación de la Universidad de Évora (UE), sedimentado en un perfil de profesional que conteste la complejidad de la profesión en nuestros días. Se explicitan los fundamentos teóricos y pedagógicos de esta formación: 1) el isomorfismo pedagógico; 2) interacción entre la Universidad y los contextos educativos; 3) enriquecimiento cultural sostenido en los contextos socioculturales de la UniverCiudad; y 4) establecimiento de comunidades de aprendizaje colaborativo. Se privilegia el aprendizaje por proyecto y escritura socializada como instrumentos de construcción y afirmación de la profesión basada en procesos investigativos que confieren cientificidad al trabajo y promueven la calidad de las prácticas profesionales.A formação dos professores da Educação Infantil é um campo praxiológico potenciador da qualidade de vida das crianças, das suas famílias e comunidades, e de um desenvolvimento sustentável. Este texto apresenta o projeto de formação da Universidade de Évora (UE), sedimentado em um perfil de profissional que responda à complexidade da profissão nos nossos dias.
