University telemedicine network in alagoas: case study

Resumo: The Rede Universitária de Telemedicina (RUTE) promotes the implementation of Núcleo de Telemedicina e Telessaúde (NTT) in university hospitals and federal universities throughout Brazil. The admission of the Professor Alberto Antunes University Hospital (HUPAA) to the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) at RUTE, occurred in 2007 based on the need for professors and students in the areas of health and information technology. This work aims to investigate the functioning of the NTT at HUPAA since its implementation to the present day. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach, developed in three stages, through a documental investigation, interviews with NTT and Grupo de Interesse Especial (SIG) coordinators and through dialogue with published literature on the subject, highlighting the importance of recording and disseminating information on actions related to telemedicine and telehealth.

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo investigar el funcionamiento del NTT de HUPAA desde su implementación hasta la actualidad. Es una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo, desarrollada en tres etapas, a través de una investigación documental, entrevistas con coordinadores de NTT y Grupos de Interesse Especial (SIGs) y el diálogo con literatura publicada sobre el tema, enfatizando la importancia de registrar y difundir información sobre acciones relacionadas con la telemedicina y telesalud.A Rede Universitária de Telemedicina (RUTE) promove a implantação de Núcleos de Telemedicina e Telessaúde (NTT) em hospitais universitários e universidades federais de todo o Brasil. A adesão do Hospital Universitário Professor Alberto Antunes (HUPAA) à Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL) na RUTE, ocorreu em 2007 com base na necessidade de docentes e discentes das áreas de saúde e tecnologia da informação. Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar o funcionamento do NTT do HUPAA desde a sua implantação até os dias atuais.
