Resumo: The advent of digital transformation is a challenge for managers of digital innovation that can be a challenge for public managers. This article focuses on examining the perspectives of Blockchain application in local public administration. It is justified by investigating the perspectives of the application of this technology in the management of municipal governance. With the study, an important influence of the new existing technological mechanisms for the viability of the control of the municipal public administration is evidenced, due to the difficulty of adopting practices of transparency when compared to the States. Therefore, due to less municipal complexity, the study demonstrates the use of Blockchain as a local governance strategy.

Este artículo se centra en examinar las perspectivas de la aplicación de Blockchain en la administración pública local. Se justifica investigando las perspectivas de la aplicación de esta tecnología en la gestión de la gestión municipal. Con el estudio se evidencia una importante influencia de los nuevos mecanismos tecnológicos existentes para la viabilidad del control de la gestión pública municipal, debido a la dificultad de adoptar prácticas de transparencia frente a los Estados. Por lo tanto, debido a la menor complejidad municipal, el estudio demuestra el uso de Blockchain como estrategia de gobernanza local.O advento da transformação digital é um desafio para os gestores públicos ao passo que promove uma cultura de inovação capaz de corroborar com o aumento da transparência, integridade e combate à corrupção, também possui riscos que podem ser cruciais para a administração pública. Justifica-se por averiguar as perspectivas da aplicação desta tecnologia na gestão de governança municipal. Com o presente estudo, evidencia-se a importante influência dos novos mecanismos tecnológicos existências para viabilizar o controle da administração pública municipal, em razão dificuldade existente na adoção de práticas de transparência quando comparados com os Estados.
