It is observed that soft skills exert a great influence on the selection of the candidate by the selectors. With this, we sought to analyze the vacancies advertised on the online platform Curriculum.com and list the ten most requested soft skills by companies in the state of São Paulo. This study was developed during an internship experience in Psychology and Management Processes, by students of the penultimate year of the Psychology course at a university in the interior of the state of São Paulo. An analysis of the vacancies announcements of this platform was carried out, about the soft skills required by the companies. After this survey, the data were listed in an Excel spreadsheet for operational, administrative and management positions. The soft skills most in demand in the advertised vacancies were identified, for each type, and finally, a general list with the ten most required skills. Interviews were conducted with the employees of the Human Resources consultancy where the internship took place, to collect information about the soft skills most valued by the market. It was identified that the ten most required soft skills are: interpersonal relationships; proactivity; Communication; organization; punctuality; teamwork; productivity; subject; Warning; and flexibility. It is concluded that the study contributes to the candidates, who can focus on the development of these skills, also emphasizing the importance of future studies on the subject, with a broader sample and with varied sources, confirming or not the results presented here. Keywords: soft skills; labor market; employability. |

Keywords: soft skills; labor market; employability.
