The number of incubators technological base grows year after year and it is important to consider its case management. As these environments can contribute to the development of the incubated companies providing an environment that assists in the development of their projects, creating products and services and their growth process. This study is part of the area of research on incubators considering the incubation process as one of the most effective mechanisms for formation of companies in the country. It is intended to identify how technological incubators based in Brazil can use the Project Management for the creation, development and monitoring of technology-based companies inserted in them. Regarding the methodology of qualitative research method and practice of literature review for a theoretical essay aimed at understanding the converging aspects between the topics of business incubators and project management and propose ways of using the principles of project management in hatcheries is used companies of technological base. The main conclusions stand out that project management is a mechanism that can support incubators of technology-based companies in managing their activities and supporting projects of the incubated companies.
