Resumo: Due to the rapid growth of production areas in the country, and lack of credit through formal mechanisms to meet the growing demand for grain, there were alternative forms of funding to government credit, is an example of these new tools Ballot Producer (CPR ). This consists of an exchange of capital or inputs made between companies and farmers, in which companies fund, varying according to the contract, the farmer's production of the producer in return if a certain amount of bags in the future date specified in the contract. Therefore, this article was prepared with the aim of analyzing the CPR as a funding mechanism tied to the marketing of maize in Lucas do Rio Verde-MT in the period 2004 to 2009. The research result shows that this funding mechanism tied to marketing has become indispensable for the development of agriculture in the county. With the existing bureaucracy in obtaining formal credit, the producers chose the membership of this mechanism, because the companies no matter what happen with the market price of the product, get their profit margins through pricing of inputs sold to farmers in Exchange Act in the packages, and companies lock the price of corn futures market, assuming its profit margin on every transaction. This mechanism appears as a stimulus for foreign capital to offset the country's large agricultural companies funders (trading), the predominant tendency of monopolistic sector, contributing to the growth of these structures in the market, capitalizing on the increasingly.
