Pretendemos contemplar, na medida do possível, o entendimento das regras de concordância verbal e de suas implicações para a construção de sentidos no texto a partirdas abordagens semânticas e discursivas da Referenciação, promovendo interfaces entre a Gramática Teórica e a Lingüística. O ensino da gramática tem sido condenado por alguns especialistas em língua materna, motivo pelo qual muitos professores alijam de suas aulas quaisquer conteúdos da gramática. Há também aqueles que perpetuam uma prática que prioriza a simples memorização de regras. Entretanto, quando ensinada de forma significativa, a gramática mostra-se sobremaneira útil, pois contribui significativamente para a formação de conceitos científicos (Vygotsky, 2005) e para o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico do aluno (Lipman, 2001), facilitando a produção e, sobretudo, a compreensão de textos. As atuais abordagens sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem defendem que o aluno adquira o conhecimento por meio de um processo crítico e reflexivo (Neves, 2004). Logo, o grande desafio do professor de Língua Portuguesa é tornar o ensino da gramática um processo reflexivo acerca dos recursos oferecidos pela língua. Nesta perspectiva é que os recentes estudos lingüísticos podem ser úteis ao ensino da Língua Portuguesa, contribuindo de modo significativo para a formação de usuários competentes da língua. Neste trabalho, optamos pelo ensino da concordância verbal mediante a leitura de trechos de diversos gêneros de texto. Foram selecionados cinco exemplos e a partir da análise dos preceitos daconcordância verbal e da referenciação dentro destes textos é apresentada ao professor uma proposta de ensino, a qual considera que a concordância verbal ultrapassa os limites da Gramática Teórica. Tal proposta configura-se como uma reflexão acerca das possíveis e necessárias interfaces entre a gramática e a lingüística a fim de contribuir para mudanças significativas no ensino de Língua Portuguesa (Silva e Gurpilhares, 2006).Abstract: The objective of this research is to offer a proposal of the teaching of aspects of verbal consonance, added by the theoretical foundation of making reference. We intend to regard, as it is possible, the understanding of rules of verbal consonance and their involvement in the building of feelings in the text from the semantics approach and the discursive way of making reference, promoting interface between the Standard Grammar and the Linguistics. The teaching of grammar has been condemned by some experts in mother tongue, reason which lots of teachers lighten from their classes any grammar content. There are also those who immortalize the usage which gives preference the simple internalization of rules. Nevertheless, when it is taught in a meaningful way, grammar shows itself greatly useful, because contributes meaningfully to the formation of scientific concepts (Vygotsky, 2005) and to the development of the students critical thought (Lipman, 2001), making easy the production and, moreover, the understanding of a text. The new approaches about teaching and learning defend that the student acquires the knowledge through a critical and reflexive process. (Neves, 2004). Therefore, the great challenge of the Portuguese teacher is to become the teaching of grammar in a reflexive process regarding the resources offered by the language. In this perspective, recent linguistics studies can be useful to the teaching of the Portuguese language, contributing meaningfully to the formation competent usury of the language. In this research, we chose by the teaching of the verbal consonance through the reading of parts of different textual genres. Five examples were selected and through the analysis of the principles of verbal consonance and through the way of making reference inside these texts, it is presented to the teacher a proposal of teaching, which considers the verbal consonance trespass the Standard Grammar limits.
