Resumo: Guided by an abridgement of the theory of historical process of construction and critique of the modern concept of development, as disseminated in the field of international cooperation, the article aims to reflect on how the assumptions of critical post-developmental and decolonial thinking can be applied to the work of the International Labor Organization, especially with regard to the promotion of Decent Work – a concept based on theory and aspirations markedly associated with the current notion of sustainable development – to then respond to the following research problem: is the conception of Decent Work susceptible to decolonial appropriation? The affirmative answer results from an applied theoretical exploratory study, that led us to draw propositional notes on the issue, through the methodological approach of qualitative bibliographic analysis.

The affirmative answer results from an applied theoretical exploratory study, that led us to draw propositional notes on the issue, through the methodological approach of qualitative bibliographic analysis. Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina, UNOESC2021-11-09info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado por Paresapplication/pdftext/htmlhttps://periodicos.unoesc.edu.br/espacojuridico/article/view/2727010.18593/ejjl.27270Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law [EJJL]; Bd. 22 Nr. 2 (2021): Espaço Juridico Journal of Law [EJJL]; 405-430Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law [EJJL]; Vol. 22 No. 2 (2021): Espaço Juridico Journal of Law [EJJL]; 405-430Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law [EJJL]; Vol. 22 Núm. 2 (2021): Espaço Juridico Journal of Law [EJJL]; 405-430Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law [EJJL]; Vol. 22 No. 2 (2021): Espaço Juridico Journal of Law [EJJL]; 405-430Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law [EJJL]; v. 22 n. 2 (2021): Espaço Juridico Journal of Law [EJJL]; 405-4302179-79431519-5899reponame:Revista Espaço Jurídico/Espaço Jurídico Journal of Lawinstname:Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina (UNOESC)instacron:UNOESCporhttps://periodicos.unoesc.edu.br/espacojuridico/article/view/27270/17115https://periodicos.unoesc.edu.br/espacojuridico/article/view/27270/17116Copyright (c) 2021 Silvio Beltramelli Neto, Bianca Braga Menachohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBeltramelli Neto, SilvioBraga Menacho, Bianca2022-08-16T13:34:17Zoai:ojs.periodicos.unoesc.edu.br:article/27270Revistahttps://portalperiodicos.unoesc.edu.br/espacojuridico/indexhttp://editora.unoesc.edu.br/index.php/espacojuridico/oaieditora@unoesc.edu.br||ejjl@unoesc.edu.br2179-79431519-5899opendoar:2022-08-16T13:34:17Revista Espaço Jurídico/Espaço Jurídico Journal of Law - Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina (UNOESC)false
