EBTT teaching in the early years of elementary education: a proposal for in-service training

Resumo: | This paper seeks to analyse the discourse of teachers in the career of Basic, Technical and Technological Education (EBTT) from Pedro II School, who work at the Department for Early Years of Elementary School in relation to the challenges of a new career. Based on discussions on teacher professionalization, in-service training and work as an educational principle, we sought to understand the career, and the new opportunities it brings for teachers. As the research is qualitative and interventionist, it was expected that a teacher’s training course contributed for the change of the reality of the teachers’ professional performance. The analysis of the generated data was conducted under the principles of the Dialogical Analysis of Discourse (DAA). In the analysis of the results, it was possible to verify that the course allowed the teachers to get to know or to better understand concepts from the Professional and Technological Education field, contributing to the construction of a reflective posture of these participants in relation to their own professional practice. |

A partir de las discusiones sobre la profesionalización docente, la formación en servicio y el trabajo como principio educativo, discutimos la enseñanza en la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica (EPT) y buscamos comprender las posibilidades de acción de estos profesionales. Como investigación cualitativa e intervencionista, nuestra intención fue contribuir a la modificación de la realidad del espacio de actuación ofreciendo un curso de educación continua en la modalidad EAD. Para interpretar los datos generados, utilizamos el Análisis Dialógico del Discurso (ADD). Al analizarmos los resultados, notamos que el curso permitió a los profesores conocer o profundizar conceptos en el área de EPT, contribuyendo a la construcción de una postura reflexiva de estos participantes en relación a su propia práctica profesional.Este artigo buscou analisar os discursos de docentes do Ensino Básico, Técnico e Tecnológico (EBTT) do Colégio Pedro II que atuam no Departamento dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental em relação aos desafios de sua carreira. A partir das discussões sobre profissionalização docente, formação em serviço e trabalho como princípio educativo, discutimos a docência em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT) e buscamos compreender as possibilidades de atuação para esses profissionais. Enquanto pesquisa qualitativa e intervencionista, foi nossa intenção contribuir para a modificação da realidade do espaço de atuação por meio da oferta de um curso de formação continuada na modalidade EAD. Para interpretação dos dados gerados, utilizamos a Análise Dialógica do Discurso (ADD).
