O lugar da mulher no jornalismo esportivo: uma análise dos programas Jogo Aberto e Globo Esporte São Paulo

This monograph took as a basis the television programs Jogo Aberto, from Rede Bandeirantes, and Globo Esporte São Paulo, from Rede Globo, to verify the space occupied by woman in sports journalism on Brazilian open television nowadays, from production to reporting, presentation and comments. Through interviews with professionals that compose the attractions, in front of the cameras and behind the scenes, we demonstrated the market vision about the women's agency. Based on the analysis of the programs, we examined how these products reach the viewer, focusing on the presence of female journalists. With data collected in a questionnaire applied to the public, we understand how this context is reflected in the audience of these attractions. Considering the question of gender, we analyzed factors that surround women in their professional practice and during their long-standing relationship with sport. To achieve this, we use as methodology a bibliographical, historical and empirical approach that helps us to understand what each function occupied by the female figure within newsroom expresses about their professional and social role on television, all this in a mainly masculine context such as sports journalism
