The diseases caused by worms are intestinal infections caused by parasites. It is observed in children and adults in all steps of life. Health promotion is also through education, the adoption of healthy lifestyles, the development of skills and individual capacities, production of a healthy environment, society effectiveness of the public policy implementation aimed at ensuring the quality of life and health services. Health education is an important key to the prevention of diseases caused by worms, and is considered a very efficient method of prophylaxis. The study aimed to conduct workshops, explaining about the main diseases caused by worms, symptoms and prophylaxis, thereby promoting prophylactic education work. Two workshops were held in a public school in Cuiabá for two classes of elementary school. At the end of a dynamic garage where there was rapid learning by the students on the life cycle of parasites that were presented and prophylaxis about to be taken is performed. The remark showed that prophylactic education is a very effective tool for the prevention of diseases caused by worms and that should be further explored by public agencies of health and education. The partnership between Higher Education Institutions and schools are extremely important as it provides the students from the health and life to put into practice the learned theory and against starting promotes a health service through the prophylactic education.
