Free pre-university course DACA is a university extension project linked to the Unesp whose mission is to assist people unable to afford a private prep school in the difficult task of joining public universities, in addition to enabling the professional addition to the participants (teachers, staff and coordination) that they are mostly students from Unesp. Through the selection process we selected 140. During the year in question, they will have the tools necessary to be approved in the public university entrance exams. Among these tools, we provide daily lessons, teaching materials, library collections, educational support and extracurricular activities that contribute to the human, cultural, political and scientific evolution of our students. The teaching staff consists of academics of Dentistry courses (FOA) and Veterinary Medicine (FMVA). In recent years the cram school has been highlighted by the success of their students in college entrance exams. In 2015, during the registration of the new students at the program, we used a questionnaire that aimed to conduct a survey of higher-level courses that the new students had as first choice. The results indicated an expressive choice of medical career, and a predilection for engineering courses, which is in line with the current needs of the labor market, and also showed significant interest in the careers of Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine, this fact happens because of the the existence of these courses in the campus of UNESP in Araçatuba. Obtaining this information, it provided us a better understanding about the concerns of our students, deismystifying some ideas we had about it. And also highlighted the need to continue to research and propose actions that help them at making this so important decision in the building of the society.
