Resumo: Pandora's syndrom has been consider one of the most diagnosed illnes of lower urinary tract in veterinary routine, representing around 55 to 69% of casuistry. The goal of this study was to identify, by sistematic review, the treatments and preventive protocols used on this patology and to evaluate if they are truly efficient. The articles and literature used for this purpose was indexed from data bases: SAGE Journals, PubMed, Hill's Vet and Google Acadêmico, besides Veterinary University Library's avaible books in UNESP, campus Araçatuba. After exclusion of papers that do not fit on pre estipulated criteria, was used a total of 44 publications, been 9 of them experimental studys encompassing 10 itens. Beyond to debate about this question, it will explain the nomenclature and justify their alterations all over the year.

A finalidade deste estudo foi identificar, por meio de revisão sistemática, os tratamentos e protocolos preventivos utilizados na patologia e avaliar se são efetivamente eficientes. Os artigos e literatura utilizados para este fim foram indexados das bases de dados: SAGE Journals, PubMed, Hill’s Vet e Google Acadêmico, além dos livros disponíveis na biblioteca da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária UNESP, câmpus Araçatuba. Após exclusão dos artigos que não se enquadravam nos critérios pré estipulados, utilizou-se um total de 44 publicações, sendo 9 estudos experimentais, abrangendo 10 itens.
