Resumo: The lack of detailed information on soil resources is a limiting factor for the growth of different areas of knowledge and productive sectors. The ladforms when properly characterized may be indicators of pedogenetic processes that influence the variability of soil properties and the response of agricultural crops. In this context, this work aims to identify areas with different production potential and quality of sugarcane in different landforms characterized by morphometric signature, magnetic susceptibility and thickness of horizons A+E in Hapludalf originated Sandstone. Based on the characterization of a pilot area of 200 ha, 100 ha convex shape and 100 ha in the summons form, was set greater area of 100,000 ha. Were randomly chosen on this greater area 15 concave and convex forms, with same geology, geomorphology and soil the control area. Were determined magnetic susceptibility (MS) in low frequency and thickness of horizons A+E. We also assessed the history of seven years (2008 to 2014) the production of sugarcane in tonnes of stems ha-1 (TCH) and quality of raw material, expressed in Pol. The results show that MS and morphometric signature were effective in identifying areas with potential for cultivation of sugarcane and may help manage the a more homogeneous areas for standardization of quality of raw material. Even with interference from other sources of variability such as attack by pests and weeds, for example, the response model of sugarcane as a function of landforms has accuracy of 55% for yield (TCH) and 64% Pol in compared the pilot area

As formas do relevo, quando caracterizadas corretamente, podem ser indicadores dos processos pedogenéticos que influenciam a variabilidade dos atributos do solo e a resposta das culturas agrícolas. Nesse contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar áreas com diferentes potenciais produtivos e de qualidade da cana-de-açúcar em diferentes formas do relevo, caracterizadas por assinatura geomorfométrica, suscetibilidade magnética e espessura dos horizontes A+E em Argissolos originados de Arenito com baixo teor de ferro total (<4% Fe2O3). Com base na caracterização de uma área-piloto de 200 ha, sendo 100 ha na forma convexa e 100 ha na forma côncava, foi definida ao seu redor quadrícula de 100.000 ha. Foram escolhidas aleatoriamente nesta quadrícula 15 formas côncavas e 15 convexas, com geologia, solo e geomorfologia similares à área-controle. Foram coletadas 121 amostras, na profundidade de 0,0-0,2 m nas formas côncava e convexa da área-piloto e 3 amostras em cada forma, na profundidade de 0,0-0,2 m nas formas da quadrícula. Foram determinadas a suscetibilidade magnética (SM) em baixa frequência e a espessura dos horizontes A+E. Também foi avaliado o histórico de 7 anos (2008 a 2014) da produção de cana-de-açúcar, expresso em toneladas de colmos ha-1 (TCH) e qualidade da matéria-prima, expresso em Pol. Foram calculados médias e desvio-padrão para os atributos do solo e histórico de produtividade e de qualidade da cana-de-açúcar. Foram realizados o Teste de Tukey (5%) e a análise de dispersão, comparando os valores de SM da área-piloto com os valores de SM dos 100.000 hectares.
