Análise tectonoestratigráfica do intervalo Aptiano-Mioceno na porção offshore da região central da Bacia do Espírito Santo

Resumo: In the central offshore region of Espírito Santo Basin, there are several types of oil accumulations. The turbidites with lateral seal formed by the saline intrusions are the most well known exploratory play in this basin. In this sense, this work focuses on a tectonostratigraphic analysis of the Cangoá and Peroá oil fields, known as gas producers, in order to characterize the main exploration opportunities in the Aptian-Miocene range, thus allowing the understanding of the mechanisms involved in the generation of reservoirs in the area. For this purpose, the analysis and correlation of 8 wells based on their geophysical logs and the interpretation of 24 2D seismic sections were performed. The stratigraphic sections allowed to characterize the spatial distribution of the Oligocene-Miocene turbidite deposits of the Urucutuca Formation, which are the main local oil producers. The interpretation of the seismic data and the analysis of structural and isopach maps show that in the basin dominates the extensional tectonic style and the structural deformation caused by halokinetics movements. Also, two main exploratory opportunities have been identified in the post-salt sequence: Structured Albian Play, characterized by listric faults in association with rollover-type folds resulting from the salt movement, which provides the formation of favorable structures for the storage of hydrocarbons; and the Urucutuca Turbidites Play, characterized by turbidite reservoirs that are sealed by shales and trapped by saline domes

Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho foca na análise tectonoestratigráfica dos campos petrolíferos de Cangoá e Peroá, reconhecidamente produtores de gás, com o objetivo de caracterizar as principais oportunidades exploratórias (plays) no intervalo Aptiano-Mioceno, a fim de permitir uma compreensão abrangente dos mecanismos envolvidos na geração dos reservatórios presentes na área. Para isso, é realizada a análise e correlação de 8 poços com base nos seus respectivos perfis geofísicos e a interpretação de 24 seções sísmicas 2D. As seções estratigráficas confeccionadas permitiram caracterizar a distribuição espacial dos depósitos turbidíticos do Oligoceno-Mioceno da Formação Urucutuca, que constituem os principais níveis produtores locais. A interpretação dos dados sísmicos em conjunto com os mapas de contorno estrutural e de isópacas mostram que na bacia predomina o estilo tectônico distensivo e a deformação estrutural causada pela halocinese.
