The current world geopolitical scene was renewed on new contexts and from different perspectives. Between armed conflicts, ideological disputes and cyber-attacks, the lust for power has taken various forms and ways, changing the world throughout history, creating new borders and nations. And among the main actors of these transformations, Russia is the main actor. Throughout its history it coexisted with transformations and reconstructions, and always remained one of the main threats in the deconstruction of the geopolitical world, as one of the most powerful and influential regions because of its strategic location for military and economic dominance. Since the vast Russian Empire, through striking Union of Socialists and Soviet Republics (USSR) until its collapse and reconstruction, currently has as president feared and ambitious Vladimir Putin, who seeks the strengthening of Russian nationalism, strong investment in the military and the resumption of the old spaces that one day once belonged to the Russian Empire or the Soviet Union. These new spaces, called post-Soviet space, have a history in common, but differ in their physical, political, economic and cultural, as well as being targets of geopolitical and economic interest in the dominant countries in the world scenario, the vulnerability and identification. Among the countries that aspire to sovereignty over these new spaces, Russia is the most determined that goal, trying to recover his lost territory with the Soviet collapse, either by military force or political and economic influence
