The Academic League Toxicology (LAT) is composed of undergraduate students from UNESP, Botucatu, who perform night shifts, on weekends and holidays while maintaining continuous service hotline of Toxicological Information Centre providing toxicological information pharmacological during night shifts, to health professionals and the community, under the guidance of professional Toxicological Assistance Center (CEATOX). Based on monographs and other references in the toxicology area, the on-duty provide guidance for identification of agents, first aid, treatment and monitoring of cases of various poisonings. At the time of care, the cases are recorded in a bookata, in a notification of Individual Form, standardized by the State System of Toxicological, the State Department of Health of São Paulo (SES / SP), which are entered patient data its main clinical manifestations and administered conduits, toxic agents and their classification, and the Medical and Health Unit requesting data, and a computer program that contains the same information as the Individual Notification Form. In order to form multipliers among graduates in toxic-pharmacological theme and feed the database of the National Poison Information System.
