Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Si doses in plants cultivated under rainfed and with irrigation on the photosynthetic traits of cotton. The experiment was carried out in a double factorial scheme, the treatments being composed of 5 doses of Si (0, 55, 110, 220 and 440 g ha−1) and 2 cultivation conditions (irrigated and rainfed). There is no influence of the interaction of Si doses and cultivation conditions, and Si does not influence the photosynthetic parameters of the cotton plant. However, irrigation is a good strategy for increasing the CO2 assimilation rate, stomatal conductance and transpiration of the cotton plant.
