Resumo: This monograph aims to analyze and comprehend Raimundo Carrero's critic about literature, published in Palavra por Palavra, in a journal from Curitiba, Jornal Rascunho. From the reading of 20 texts released during the years of 2014 and 2015, there are going to be analyzed the elements which give identity to reviews, by journalistic and literary perspectives, in order to highlight, based on theory, what are the main characteristics of this genre and how it integrates cultural journalism, resistant to press changes and to new meanings of books
