While taking part of the exchange program in New York City between 2014 and 2015, you are able to experience and have direct contact with the local LGBT community. The LGBT movement of the entire country was rooted in particular areas of New York. It is only unt i l you live in this great metropolis and coming into contact with its members that the idea of developing a tool relating to the LGBT theme came to fruition. Praising and spreading this knowledge of the culture is to be presented in the final thesis. This journey lead to GAYT. First, as an elaboration of visual identity for each neighborhood of New York. Second, expanding and constructing an application interface for smartphones and other mobile devices. GAYT has the function of entertaining and educating its users by providing details of the LGBT community's history by viewing famous landmarks, local businesses, and characters of the LGBT Universe. Not only that, the user may also see further details of where the movement presented itself in the city. The main goal of GAYT is to provide its users with a fun, light, educational and empowering immersion of LGBT people. This will make i t possible to learn, experience, share, and contribute while being a part of the exchange program
