In partnership with a conservationist ONG SOS Atlantic Forest, about eight students of environmental engineering at UNESP-Sorocaba participants of its Environmental Education Network engage over ten months, every two weeks, to observe the water quality in the main river that cuts the city, Sorocaba river, and educate preteens youth. Against the background of water resources, the group of environmental educators in sync with the lessons already provided by EE Julius Bierrenbach Lima for students from 6th an, usually given by prof. Eliana, seeks to bring in their twenty enlightening experiences activities, games and dynamics to raise awareness, educate and ultimately educate young people to preserve water and to have with her a relationship of respect. In the more advanced activities, in which young people have received some theoretical basis, it is presented to them the kit analysis and described the work by the river that the group regularly performs. On this special day, the field work and education come together and the quality of water nearest to young people, that is the water cooler or tap, is evaluated with the participation of all. To strengthen the spirit of inter-dependence that exists between natural phenomena, particularly those related to water, and personal relationships, participants from other projects promoted by the Environmental Education Network participate in some activities with students of the 6th year, showing work they do and the view that share.
