Resumo: The dental market offers many brands of artificial teeth with various shades of acrylic resin. Used in full or partial restorations, artificial teeth had a gradual increase in variety of makes and models. The aim of this study was to compare the color of artificial teeth of three trademarks that are present in the Brazilian dentistry Market Biotone (BT), Trilux (TLUX) e Tritone (TTONE), Comparing different lots each other and each with its respective batch scale. For this purpose the spectrophotometer (Shimadzu, Kyoto, Japan) was used. he central incisors (21) were analyzed in three brands, with three different lots of each brand, and five plates of each lot, as well as their respective scales. Thus, the work was divided into the following groups: BT (Lots A, B and C); TLUX (Lots A, B and C), TTONE (Lots A, B and C). At the end of the study 15 teeth of each brand were analyzed, five of each different batch, totaling 45 teeth examined. The comparison was performed between each batch and their respective color scales, which are provided by manufacturers. Based on readings taken can be concluded that only the batches had the Biotone mark visible difference between them and in comparison to their scale

Utilizados em reabilitações totais ou parciais, os dentes artificiais tiveram um aumento gradativo em variedade de marcas e modelos. O objetivo desse trabalho foi realizar uma comparação da cor de dentes artificiais de três marcas comerciais que estão presentes no mercado brasileiro, Biotone (BT), Trilux (TLUX) e Tritone (TTONE), comparando os diferentes lotes entre si, bem como, cada lote com sua respectiva escala. Para isto foi utilizado o espectrofotômetro (Shimadzu, Kyoto, Japão). Foram analisados os incisivos centrais (21) das três marcas, sendo 3 lotes diferentes de cada marca, e cinco placas de cada lote, bem como suas respectivas escalas. Desta forma, o trabalho foi dividido nos seguintes grupos: BT (Lotes A, B e C); TLUX (Lotes A, B e C), TTONE (Lotes A, B e C). Ao final do estudo foram analisados 15 dentes de cada marca comercial, sendo cinco de cada lote diferente, totalizando 45 dentes analisados. A comparação foi realizada entre cada lote e suas respectivas escalas de cores, que são fornecidas pelos fabricantes.
