Geometria fractal: uma proposta para sala de aula

Resumo: This work will show a study on the Fractal Geometry and suggests activities that enable the contextualization of contents worked in Basic Education. Through the geometry of fractals students discover an application of mathematics content, they are developed in high school and sometimes they are difficult to understand and without utility. This is a qualitative research with phenomenological hermeneutics seeking to understand the meaning of Fractal Geometry elements to suggest a possibility of work for the high school classroom. The proposed activities involve the mathematical logarithm content, their properties and applications, progression geometry and similarity of polygons. In the paper we present the Fractal Geometry ideas from which the teacher will have the opportunity to conduct an exploratory and investigative work that allows students the production of mathematical knowledge

Por meio da Geometria dos Fractais os alunos descobrem uma aplicação de conteúdos da matemática com os quais trabalham no ensino médio e que, algumas vezes, lhes parecem abstratos e sem utilidade. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa com abordagem fenomenológica hermenêutica buscando compreender o significado dos elementos da Geometria Fractal para sugerir uma possibilidade de trabalho para a sala de aula do ensino médio. As atividades propostas envolvem os conteúdos matemáticos logaritmo, suas propriedades e aplicações, progressão geometria e semelhança de polígonos.
