In the current scenario the search for new economic alternatives to circumvent the capitalist system grows. The Solidarity Economy comes as a farier and egalitarian way of practicing economics, presenting within its system collective and democratic debates, as well as a fair division of the income obtained. In this way the following work studies how the important pillar of this economy (self- management, democracy, solidarity and collectivity) can be applied in a Popular Education with the objective of forming citizens emancipated socially. Through questionnaires applied with teachers and employees in a school of the municipal network of Rio Claro - SP, who previously participated of an extension course on Solidary Economy, we will analyze the importance they gave to these four elements in their pedagogical mediations. Just like the magnetude you have in dealing with the process of evolution of a critical eye of the student in relation to their reality so that it can reflect on the causes of the conditioning of their lives. With the intention that they can free themselves from what is imposed on them, proving that education allows the historical subject to gain knowledge and transform their socio-spatial reality.
