Resumo: | The present work presents the fundamental system of an Intelligent Antenna comprising the theoretical study of sets, techniques for estimating signal sources and fixed and dynamic formation of the radiation diagram. In the first part of the work, the sets of uniform linear antennas broadside, end-fire and phase scanning are studied, where the ability to direct beams of direct radiation in regions of interest is studied, changing the excitation in the antenna elements. The second part of the work is dedicated to the study of algorithms to estimate the direction of arrival of the signals that affect the set. In particular, the work addresses the method of classification of multiple signals (MUSIC), detailing the obtaining of the response model to the set of the correlation matrix and the pseudospectrum. Some parameters are studied, such as separation distance and number of antennas in the set, as well as the levels of signal correlation, considering sources that are closer or more distant. Then, the study of methods and algorithms is performed using the beamforming technique in order to obtain an optimized system to direct the radiation beams in the directions of interest and suppress the radiation in the directions of the interfering signals. Some parameters are studied and analyzed, such as the number of antennas in the set, the correlation levels of the source signals and the convergence step of the algorithm. Finally, a set of dipole antennas was built and simulated using the optimal amplitude and phase coefficients obtained from the weight vector, allowing to establish a comparison between the set of factors for the implementation using MATLAB software and the simulation using the Ansys HFSS software. |
